Going by the reports on ProtonDB, it seems to run reasonably well. The main issue it seems to suffer from is based on where you install it. One comment in particular notes "The game must be installed somewhere without a "." in the path or the game will crash on a heavy punch.". Apart from that, most reports say it does work very nicely.
There's also The Division included, which sadly doesn't seem to work at all with Steam Play and Humble only gives a Uplay key for that anyway.
They also give you more games next month, typically you get around 8 or 9 in total when the full bundle unlocks although there’s been 10 a few times as well.
As always, you also get access to the Humble Trove, a curated selection of DRM Free games to download and keep any time. Last I checked there were over 40 native Linux games available in the Trove including titles like: SOMA, The Penumbra Collection, The End Is Nigh, Tiny Echo, Super Meat Boy and plenty more.

I am starting to regret getting the annual subscription. Last month was a pass for me, and this one also seems weak. The combination of missing Linux highlights, inclusion of games from Origin and other closed platforms, and a bunch of duplicates I have been getting lately, makes me think that I will not renew my subscription once this one runs out.

Joking aside ; give SteamPlay a chance. I'm already into 20+hours in Witcher and it just works perfect.

I like Wizard of Legend, and I had Sundered and Observer on my wishlist so last month worked fine for me.

You can always put up your spare keys on steamtrades.com or the like, and trade for games you actually want!
I unsubscribed this month again, because I realized that I can become an associate member of the Free Software Foundation for 10 bucks a month, and that's just way more cool!

Christmas Games Sales and the January Humble Subscription (with the hidden games being revealed on 4th Jan 2019) have not worked out too well for me this time. One big underlying reason is that I have amassed a very sizeable game collection, mostly favouring Linux titles. Inevitably, Humble's late reveals will (sometimes) contain (multiple) games that I already own.
In this particular case, I didn't own Wizard of Legend in the early reveals so decided to not pause this month, but to take it. (I didn't especially want the Windows early reveals, Just Cause 3 XXL and Project Cars 2 - Windows titles.)
During the Christmas Sales, I expanded my collection by a number of titles at nice discount, favouring Linux. Two of the titles I bought over Christmas - Observer and Sundered - Arrghhh! - They now turn up in the January bundle. It feels too much like I've bought them twice over now.
My "wins" were: Wizard of Legend, The Darkside Detective - Linux titles.
My "fails" were: Observer, Sundered, Regions of Ruin - Linux titles I own (and 2 I'd bought right before the Subs reveal).
My "not-wanteds" (Windows games, not previously owned): Just Cause 3 XXL, Project Cars 2, Qube 2.
Humble's Monthly Subscription works out better if (a) you favour Windows, and (b) do not own an excessive number of games.
Meanwhile, had I NOT bought Observer and Sundered just prior to the Reveal... I'd be patting myself on the back right now for getting a really great bundle. The word "Unlucky" certainly crops up here.

Sweet. I've been meaning to buy this one. No idea when I'll actually get to playing it, since I'm currently replaying Sleeping Dogs and my days off are almost over. But I've been wanting to play the Yakuza series long before they actually ported them to PC. The Division - meh...

Of the native games, I only owned >observer_, so that's another huge win for me, personally. And I have to say that both Sundered and Wizard of Legend are excellent. I haven't played Regions of Ruin yet.
As for the Windows games, it's a shame that sometimes the early unlocks are Windows only, but at least we have Steam Play now to take the pain away somewhat.
I find myself slowly accepting Steam Play as a valid method of playing Windows games. I'm about 15 hours into Death of the Outside and I bought that, along with Dishonored 2, as a bundle in the Steam Sale for about a fiver. Incredible value and both titles work absolutely perfectly. To the point that, other than seeing the usual shitty "installing DirectX" pop ups the first time you play, you wouldn't know that these aren't native games.
Oh - that's not quite true. Death of the Outsider grabs the keyboard in a way that you can't Alt-Tab out, even from the Steam Overlay, which is a bit annoying. But gameplay-wise, it's perfect.
Looking forward to seeing what 2019 brings us.

Is it possible to activate The Division key in a web-browser, without installing Uplay?
I try to not buy games elsewhere because if I do, they get into Humble Monthly eventually, very often before I beat them or even play them. I bought Overwatch and Metal Gear Solid 5 last summer to try DXVK, and both appeared in HM soon.
