Superhero League of Hoboken, another classic game has been packaged up nicely by GOG with Superhero League of Hoboken.

Originally released back in 1994, it gained some reasonably positive press at the time. The Linux build comes pre-packaged with DOSBox like a lot of classic games. So for those who missed out on it at the time, here's your chance with a no-fuss option.

Lead a hilarious band of superheroes on a dangerous quest to defeat the evil Doctor Entropy. Select from League members including Tropical Oil Man (can raise opponent's cholesterol level), Zaniac (the power to confuse) and Captain Excitement (puts animals to sleep).

Battle ferocious Aerobots, flame-throwing robotic exercise teachers (when they say, "Feel the burn", they mean it). Fight the dreaded Albino Rhino and 30 other wacky mutant including Cy Young Cyborgs, Screaming Meemies, Cruise Mistletoes, Junk Bond Amoebas and the awesome King Kong Salmon, who return to the top of the empire State Building to spawn!

GOG sent over a copy, so I gave it a run and it does work very nicely:

Obviously most of the work is thanks to DOSBox, even so having a place to legally grab a copy and have it all ready to go for you is awesome. I've relived a number of classics thanks to GOG doing stuff like this.

Head on over to GOG and grab a copy if it's your thing.

I recommend playing the talkie version as that has the campy but excellent narrator :D
