Happy Room, a game you might not have heard of and you will be forgiven for that (I hadn't either) as it released in 2016. Turns out, they added a Linux version just after release so we completely missed it. A bit of a warning though, it's certainly not one to show a younger audience.

Note: Key provided by the developer to our Steam Curator, be sure to follow us!

It's a game of mindless violence, as you throw test subject after test subject around a chamber for science as you subject them to all kind of explosions and stuff.

While it released back in 2016, it's still being updated. It had a big updated in December last year, adding in a new game mode, new weapons to unleash on your test subjects and the ability to save a quick gif as I shall demonstrate below:

It gets a lot more amusing later on too, that was a very early part of the game with little available to me. Crossbow unlocked you say? Show me more!

I will openly admit that Happy Room gave me a rather large amount of laughs. I'm not sure if that's the devil inside me wanting to get out or I just needed a break from everything else but I enjoyed it. Seriously, at one point I was nearly crying with laughter at just how long some of it can go on for, especially amusing when you think it's all over and a Crossbow has just one more bolt to throw.

Giving off some of the same ridiculous vibes as a game like Goat Simulator, I thought I would get bored of it within 30 minutes. There I was though, two hours later still going. It helps that there's some interesting challenges you need to accomplish, some of these are surprisingly difficult as the physics don't react the exact same way every time which increases the hilarity of it when something completely unexpected happens.

You even get to upgrade your various tools of pain too.
