As the eldest son of the Katsuragi Family - one of the leading families of mages in Japan - Kiyotaka travels across the ocean to London with his little sister, Himeno, in order to study abroad at Royal London Magic Academy, also known as Weather Vane.
A sprawling underground academic city awaits Kiyotaka and Himeno as they set foot for the first time in the fog-covered city of London.
The academic city is situated in an underground lake and is composed of three floating islands in the shape of a crescent moon.
Many fledgling mages from around the world congregate here to study their craft in an optimum environment.Kiyotaka begins to feel at ease in his new environment, and soon enough the siblings are merrily hanging out with their new friends at school.
Mhakna and Sebiarno have seen better days. Their orphanage is run by a cranky old lady, who will turn the two into animals and sell them in the city if they do not find a foster parent by the age of 10. With a little help from a Fairy called Bell, they escape to Enles Land, a kingdom of eternal happiness for children, leaving their former lives behind. Here, they meet other children just like them. But little do they notice... something is amiss in this utopia for children.
With thanks to GOG for providing me directly with a copy of all three, I gave them all a run to make sure nothing was amiss. Oddly, The Falconers: Moonlight was the only one I had trouble with, as it got confused with my two monitors falling back to software rendering, the other two were fine. No thoughts on them, they're really not my kind of thing but happy to let you know they're on GOG now.
All three of them have a sale on too until January 29th, so if they seem like your thing now is a good time to pick them up. They all seem to have gained a positive reception too on Steam (where they've been available for a while), although none of them have a large amount of user reviews.
