It's question time once again, time to tell the world what you've been playing and let us know if it's worth getting.
I've actually been really enjoying Sid Meier's Civilization VI with the new expansion, it's far more addictive than I originally thought. While I previously got bored with it after a few rounds, that's no longer the case.
The disasters system with climate change adds so much to the game to seriously make it that much more interesting. Soon my English army shall take over what's left of the world…
In regards to the performance of the port (which isn't great in the later game), Aspyr Media did say this on Reddit:
The answer is actually not technical, but simply bandwidth. Frankly, it was a valentines miracle to get Linux out along-side Windows in a playable state that we were happy with AND cross platform. There will be time for optimizations once the dust settles, and we will continue to optimize for as long as we work on the product. For Civ V, that was years.
As for other games, I still can't pull myself away from Rocket League. Now that I have a few hundred hours in it, the amount of tricks I can pull off is increasing all the time, once you get to grips with some aerial maneuvers the game certainly opens up a bit.
Another shout out to Streets of Rogue, still one of my absolute favourite indie games. The amount of time I'be put into this is nuts. Probably one of the funniest games I've ever played with friends. Absolutely check it out if you haven't and do have a look at our video of it!

Assetto Corsa Competizione - Really cool feeling with a Logitech G25.
Occasionally Two Point Hospital and Lego Jurassic Park, cool games to play together with kids.
I hope to spend some time soon into another round of Civ6 and Life is Strange BtS. Lets hope that it will take some time until Shadow of the Tomb Raider arrives on Linux, otherwise my backlogs will never decrease :)

I'm curious what your opinion of the game's ending (and the ending of the DLC) will be.
I've just killed my first Bolter, and Doc just got kidnapped after I delivered a tissue sample, so I think I'm about to go somewhere called The Pit.
I didn't get any of the DLCs, since I wasn't sure if the game was any good. Just playing plain vanilla now. Didn't even get the enhanced edition. I'm enjoying it though, mostly due to excellent gameplay and atmosphere. The game also looks quite gorgeous.
Even if it's a bit flawed, this is the most fun I've had with a zombie game since Left 4 Dead 2. As for the ending, I'm not holding my breath for it to be memorable :)

Yep, out of the box with Steam Play. Unfortunately no intro-movie due to media foundation, though I consider this acceptable. Hell of fun to drive these GT3 monsters :)
Tales from the Borderlands via Proton. Works perfectly with keyboard and mouse, but I was hoping to play it via my SteamLink on my tv, but the game does not detect the controller at all, so that's a no go. Not sure why. Anyway I've finished the first episode and the game really gets the zany storytelling of Borderlands down.
S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl Not sure I'm going to finish this one. The story feels really haphazard, random
and not all that compelling. It's hard to feel any real sense of progression in it. I've got it fairly well modded, so the graphics aren't too dated, but I may have waited too long to play this one.

Mad Max. Yes, backlog. Warner Bros games are great. They truly capture the cinematic feel you'd expect from a movie studio.
Finally, Far Cry 1 via Proton. Works great on Debian and Neon. Doesn't work on SteamOS though.
Ah, yes. After 18 years I moved from Debian to KDE Neon, Ubuntu-based. Some games require glibc newer than the current Debian stable and I'm too old to run testing.
I also got SEUM: Speedrunners from Hell and it is awesome! That game got me a lot of flashbacks to Quake Defrag and Warsow Race mode. And it's nice to work your way up the leader boards, my best rank so far was 79 after just two hours in the game. I'll definitely be going back to this one :)

So I do not have my nice Swords and less Orens.

Your saves should be compatible, but you can start over if you want, using TW1 save. In order to use it with the Linux version, place your TW1 final save in
