Bundling together a mix of competitive online multiplayer with a single-player narrative campaign, Football Story sounds pretty unique and now we can finally get a good look at it.
When mentioning it in a previous article, all they had to offer was a few shots and a few very short teasers. The publisher,
Crytivo, sent word last night that the actual trailer is now live and you can see it below:

Linux support is still confirmed both on the publisher's website, Steam and a lovely little Linux "tux" icon in the trailer.
More about it:
Football Story will put your skills to the test in an ultra fun multiplayer mode and tug at your heartstrings in a narrative-driven single-player campaign. When you’re not showing off in a PVP football match, explore a massive city littered with quests and interesting activities. Bolster your reputation, earn experience, customize your character, and craft your own story.
Features they plan to offer:
- Cross-Platform Multiplayer
- 8-Player Matches
- Deep Customization
- Unique Training System
- 4 Diverse Stories to Experience in Single Player
- Massive City to Explore
- Varied Quests
- Team Management System
You can wishlist and follow it on Steam, it will also be on the Crytivo store (the publisher). However, they're still not giving out even a release window for it yet, so it could be a while away.
