Two bits of Paradox Interactive stuff to cover today! First, the have a big sale going on the Humble Store with loads of Linux games and they've also opened a new game dev studio.
First up, the Paradox Interactive Weekend on the Humble Store is live from now until Monday, March 11 at 10 a.m. Pacific time. Included in this sale are some great choices like:

Additionally, Paradox Interactive announced today the formation of a new studio called Paradox Tectonic. It's being led by Rod Humble, the former Executive Vice President at Electronic Arts and also a former CEO of Linden Lab.
Hopefully their games will support Linux like all those coming out of Paradox Development Studio! We've no idea what games they're going to be doing at this time, since Paradox Interactive said they're going for "a brand-new game and IP" to be revealed at a later date.

Hang on, isn't Obsidian owned by Microsoft now? Why can Paradox put PoE on sale?
They're just the publisher for that, presumably that doesn't change if a developer changes hands. There would be a contract for X amount of years signed between Obsidian and Paradox, and Microsoft simply inherits that contract.

I think he was involved a lot into production of The Sims 2, on of the few games that has more DLCs than an average Paradox Game. At least here he seems to fit to Paradox.
Maybe something like The Sims? Sklyine Citizens?
Doesn`t sound to me, that there will be a Linux Game coming out of this company.
Would be nice though, as i like Paradox and their games.
Battletech is showing as Windows and MAC only. Is it officially out for Linux, or still in some kind of private beta?My [Steam version](https://steamdb.info/app/637090/) runs in Linux.
I love most of the games that Paradox gives to us, how many of their games we can run, and that they support modding. I'm a fan!
