Wow, ask and you shall receive? I only sent Humble a message in the last few weeks asking about a new Humble Indie Bundle and they delivered! The Humble Indie Bundle 20 is officially live.

Included in the PWYW (pay what you want) tier:

  • The First Tree
  • Tangledeep
  • Among the Sleep - Enhanced Edition

If you decide to pay more than the average:

  • Getting Over It with Bennett Foddy
  • Tooth and Tail
  • Dream Daddy: A Dad Dating Simulator

Finally, if you pay at least $10 you will get:

  • Overgrowth

Overall, that's actually a pretty good selection of games and since it's one of their classic-styled bundles all of the games support Linux too. Not only that, each game has a DRM-free build as well as a Steam key.

Fantastic to see Humble go back to their roots, as they were one of the first to push Linux support with these bundles (they even got games ported back in the day, I was one of their original beta testers).

Check out the full bundle here.

Among the Sleep has been on my wishlist for a while, no excuse now I guess :-)

I picked it up for Overgrowth. First one I have bought since Humble Indie Bundle 14.

Now I can get Dream Daddy... Just what I always wanted. /s

I already have Tooth and Tale, not really interested in Getting Over It or Overgrowth, so I will probably get the cheap tier only.

Dream daddy is the real draw here.

I grabbed the first tier - The First Tree and Tangledeep were both wishlist items for me.

I already have Tooth and Tail from a previous bundle (Strategy Bundle, I think?). I don't have a DRM free download. I've sent Humble an email asking if DRM free downloads will be made available for folks who already had Tooth and Tail prior to Indie Bundle 20.

[Edit]Humble got back to me - nope. Anyone who already has Tooth and Tail from a previous bundle will NOT be getting the DRM free build.[/Edit]

Bought the whole whangdangdoodle.
As I'm not interested in two of the games, anyone active on GoL can shoot me a PM and ask for a freebie. First come, first served. ^_^

  • Dream Daddy: A Dad Dating Simulator claimed!

  • Tangledeep (plus soundtrack) claimed!

Both games have found new owners, better luck next time to everyone else!

Tooth and Tail looks amazing like it could be just my cup of tea.
How did I miss this?

We have soooooo many games on Linux by now, that you miss out gems without even knowing they exist. :/
There was a time I could name 99 % of all commercial native Linux games.
It's good and bad at the same time.

Edit:

Tooth and Tail runs awfully slow on my Haswell notebook. :/
(Graphic settings lowered ofc.)

Edit2:

TaT runs smooth like butter on Windows 10.
Same machine. :/
Game is based on the XNA engine.
Is this a known issue?

It's very rare that I skip a HIB, but this will be one of them. I remember when HIB used to be an elite bundle, games were getting Linux support so they could be included. Far cry from those days.

It seems like the highest tier also includes "Overgrowth Secret Preorder Forum (SPF) access" (in form of a special link).
