<rant>The experience with USA based assembly is pretty bad. Look for instance at openpandora. Or more near experience, once you sign the contract, the nice guys go away, and you get backstabbed by the real company.

Ha, well maybe I'll have to try to put forth some effort in getting Elite: Dangerous working under Linux, then to see if I can get it working under the Vive Pro.

Been a while since I logged in, it's the type of game that takes you away from reality enough that by the time you're ready to stop playing, it's been many hours later and you realize you haven't eaten that day...

Exactly. I've seen a lot of people list Platinum, then go on to say 'add command parameters here' or 'Get this patch from github' etc. That should instantly lower it to Gold.

It's also fun for ProtonDB to have a ton of reports, but all of them give anything from broken to Platinum, but at least they also show Distribution. I think some simply fail because there are some libraries some distributions install by default where as others do not, so it's a simple fix of installing a library. Does that break the Platinum because some distributions might need this? It'd be nice if launching something via Proton would warn you that you're missing a library for sure. Wine usually does if you run it via command line.
