Abbey Games (Renowned Explorers, Reus) are getting ready to launch their new strategy sim Godhood, with it now having a release date set for July 10th. As a reminder, they delayed the Early Access release originally and they mentioned the good news about the delay is that it would see same-day Linux support!

Create your own religion in the strategy god game Godhood. Select virtues and vices. Inspire construction of great temples, ready for rituals to be held in your honor. Guide and develop your faithful disciples in turn-based conflict to convert worshippers away from rival gods. Become the most powerful god of all!

For a recent look at the game, you can see their livestream from earlier this month in the below video:

This is one I'm especially excited to try out, being able to create your own religion actually sounds like a lot of fun. Will you guide them towards peace or push them towards drenching themselves in the blood of everyone them come across? Thankfully it seems like it's not a plain choice between such extremes, as you mix and match all sorts of commandments.

You can wishlist/follow it ready on Steam. They've said it will also be launching on GOG at the same time but there's no store page for it up just yet.
