Klei Entertainment have decided to delayed the full release of Oxygen Not Included, with it moving to July.

They're going to have open testing around the end of June, sounds like it's all going well but sometimes extra time is just needed. Game development is complicated and Oxygen Not Included needs some more testing and polishing. They said "We’re feeling good about the content of this final update and we really think you will like what we have cooking but if we launch as scheduled, the update would not have seen much testing and it’s just not as polished as we (or you) would like.".

As a reminder, they also said before that while it's leaving Early Access is will not be the end of development. It will get the usual bug fixes after release, with a bunch of their team moving to expand Oxygen Not Included with expansions.

I'm truly excited for it, a fantastic game that fills me with both wonder and frustration every time I play it. The amount going on when you have a big colony is crazy! Fantastic art, great sound-work and all around brilliant. They're not giving an exact date yet for the July release, so I will keep you posted when I know.

You can find it on Steam right now.

For me the game should be renamed "Coolant not included". I've got oxygen coming out of the wazzoo, but managing heat has become a real priority. Probably doesn't help that my base is built on a cool steam pipe, but I'm not having much luck with insulation, water cooling, wheeze worts and ice fans. :(

Still damn fun though.

Yeah, I had a similar probably with CO2 - tons of oxygen kicking around, but if you let that CO2 build up, the lower portion of your base becomes uninhabitable! Hopefully it's easier to cool water in the final game too - heat exchangers were woefully inadequate when I used them last time I played, about a year ago.

Love it though. It's got charm, complexity, wonderful learning curve and loads of polish.

just place a CO2 filter at the level you don't want it to go up! :P

And @WorthMzy , a few weezerworts,a bit of hydrogen and a few radiant pipes can do magic to your circulating air temperature :)

All my helium gets used up by my helium generator, which keeps my oxygen systems working (which generates more helium, so it's almost self-sustaining), but I managed to find a sweet spot with water cooling where it doesn't freeze (using automation and pipe temp sensors). However, my base hit a new crisis -- my hatch farm couldn't keep up with the demand for coal, so my coal furnaces ran dry and I've had to hastily install a petroleum generator and deal with it's waste products.

My poor base is falling apart. :c
