Some you may have missed, popular articles from the last month:
Quoting: ShmerlI've reached out to VP to find out if they plan to get the Linux version of BioShock Infinite on GOG.Quoting: einherjarI my point of view GOG messes things like this up.
If you can have a Linuxversion on Steam but not on GOG It does not seem to be the gamedevs fault.
Just my 2 Cents.
That's up to VP really. GOG said that much explicitly.

Thanks, I also wrote to them using this form: http://www.vpltd.com/contact/
Not sure if they'll respond though.
@adamhm also pointed out, that he asked VP in the past, why their other Linux games are missing on GOG, like Saints Row series, for example. And VP said it's due to the publisher (Deep Silver) never asking them to release it. Which sounds weird, since Deep Silver did release Windows versions on GOG.
I suspect there is something going on between VP and original publishers that's blocking it. May be VP charge the publisher for each extra release, and the likes of Deep Silver and 2K don't care enough about other stores for Linux versions, to pay anything. Just a guess of course, I have no info about it.

I tried this, to bypass installers bundling a bunch of dx junk:
But result isn't really a full game...
I suppose something is off, or it's related to Galaxy 2.0 changes.

Quoting: Sir_DiealotThere is a Banner Saga collection I almost bought because they are allegedly good games.
But after reading this I decided against it. https://www.gog.com/forum/the_banner_saga_series/linux_version
If I remember correctly those games were made on adobe air which dropped Linux support shortly after the first game was made, so the company was in a no win situation. Never reaching out and explaining that was a poor PR move on their part.
Recently they did go to the trouble of removing their broken and unplayable Linux port from steam so that people could play on proton, so at least linux support was in the back of their minds somewhere. It was a goodwill gesture in any case. link
I certainly can't blame you for not buying the games, they are very good though.

So why would 2K not do that, if they released the Windows version on GOG? We should contact 2K then, since looks like they are the bottleneck here.

I doubt it. Valve in the past claimed, they never require exclusive deals. But feel free to ask them.
