It's been a while since I last asked and plenty of games have been released or updated since then. Let's get talking.

For me, the usual Rocket League has been played a lot recently. Especially with the new in-game event going on, the Spike Rush game mode (video) is a huge amount of fun and it's pretty ridiculous. Even the normal game modes continue to keep the game as my #1, it's gotten to the point where I'm attempting all sorts of insane goals. It's still free to try until tomorrow at 5PM UTC with a 50% off sale on Steam.

Plenty more Dota Underlords as well of course, I'm absolutely terrible at it but it's also stupidly engrossing. I like that I can quickly go for a toilet break or to grab a drink when needed, since you don't have to be at your PC during the battles if you have to run for a minute.

Apart from that, Eagle Island continues to pull plenty of my attention. Such a sweet game and really quite a challenge at times. I've especially enjoyed jumping into the Roguelite mode to continue playing after the story is all done.

I also let the mini-me try out Bastion, while it's not a game I personally enjoy as I find the narrator a little irritating, he seems to love it on the more casual game mode and he's getting surprisingly good at it.

Do let everyone know what you've been playing and if it's worth picking up in the comments.

Quoting: DaiKaiser93To anyone out there:

Is there a fix for the white cutscene problem with the game RUINER, I pretty much wasted all day and couldn't figure out how to fix it.

I'm running Manjaro & the game is the GOG version.

I have the game on steam and used Linux mint at this time, but if I remember correctly it was just a GPU driver problem.

I've been playing a lot recently with my kids away at camp:

Native:
Rocket League:
So much RL, so much. Nearly a drug

X Plane 11:
Coming back to it as a tool to conquer my fear of flying before an upcoming trip... A terrific title to have on Linux.

Steel Rats:
Just starting this one, seems like fun, unique visual style. Controls are different....

Super Hot:
Price came down recently, and I picked it up. I'm not sure how much I'll play it (I don't love constantly replaying levels when I die) but no other game has made me feel more like a Matrix-like super hero than this one.

FTL:
I never got into it, and am giving it another shot to decide if it's enjoyable or not...

Proton/Wine:
Angels Fall First:
So much AFF. Best title no one is playing. Like Battlefield 2, but better, and in space.

Void Destroyer 2:
Just starting to gain moment in this early access title as it hits beta. Kinda like Elite or I-War 2. Possibly, once you get by the graphical style, a space sim legend in the making. It's great, and a one man indie dev project to boot.

The Battlefields:
I discussed this in a post above.

I've been playing StarCraft remastered with the newly released carbot skin pack. It really feels like a new game.

Couldn't get it to show cutscenes in Manjaro, made a fresh Linux Mint 19.1 install and the game runs flawlessly.

How does it run on your rig?.

Hello Penguins!
i was playing dota underlords, and that revived my taste for Dota2, so i was playing that last week. But the community here, in southamerica is so toxic that i just quit. Dota 2 is a fabulous game, but people that play it it is toxic, even in non-competitive modes, that simply don worth it.
So i was playing Rogue Legacy, and i liked. I'm not a fan of plataformers, but this one has a progression that i really like.

Exactly how I would describe my time with Terraria. I would even give it a the status of great game, if it wasn't for the shitty control mechanics.

Never played it since I'm on manjaro, but I can test it this weekend. On the steam forum they said it could be an unsupported Linux version problem, maybe some depencies are missing with manjaro.
