Snapfire is the name and Dota 2 is the game! Valve have teased a new bad-ass female hero in a wild west themed animated short.

This might actually be my favourite Dota 2 short so far, take a look:

Curiously and possibly something that will be expanded upon in Dota 2 lore, Timbersaw refers to Snapfire as "auntie", seems like it's not exactly happy families though with Snapfire's fire-breathing pet ready to strike Timbersaw down.

Snapfire seems hilariously barmy and that's my kind of character! Based on the video, I think it's safe to assume they're a ranged hero.

Due to land in Dota 2 sometime this "Fall" so we should get it before the year is up anywhere between September 1st and December 21st. If Valve give out any more details today, I will update the article.

As usual, find Dota 2 free to play on Steam.
