What have you been clicking on this weekend?

The weekend is almost over and a nice week full of news is about to begin. Before it does, let's get talking! What have you been playing?

Brigador: Up-Armored Edition has been sucking up a lot of my time recently, thanks to a new update coming out with a bit of new content. I have so much love for the destruction in this game it's unreal! This is where I have honestly spent most of my time, stomping on everything and identifying explosive areas to set off fun chain-reactions from a shot or two and just watching everything go to hell. Love the customization too, plenty to unlock from vehicles to pilot to ridiculously powerful weapons.

Since Abandon Ship got a Linux beta recently, I've also been putting some time into that while chatting to the developer to help ensure a smooth release later this month.

I also helped the developer of Elteria Adventures identify a bug preventing the upcoming Linux version from launching, so that was fun too.

I bought, installed and finished Wolfenstein: The New Order, bought it as a double-pack with The Old Blood for a reasonable price. Great game, beautiful graphics and fun story (if ridiculous).

Otherwise, 7 Days to Die on the GOL server/stream with Sin, Ehvis, Himselfe and Jolltz, and lots and lots of DOTA Underlords. The latter is much more streamlined with the recent alliance changes and free re-rolls when you lose. Feels a touch fairer/balanced.

Nothing much. I've been hoping to sneak in some Borderlands 2, but I've not had time. :(

I started a new colony on ONI on Friday, but haven't had chance to get back to that either.

Next weekend I'll be down in a field in Derby, so I'll not be getting any gaming done for a while.

I've actually been playing The Witcher 3! I finally have a computer that's able to handle it. I'm so pleased it runs so darned well in Steam Play. I'd never tell it wasn't a native game if I didn't know. ?

So almost exclusively X-Plane 11, which is really a remarkable title. I use flight sims to get over some flight anxiety (hey, if I can plot a route in heavy fog and storms and land the plane with GPS/ILS assist, I assume the pros can, right? RIGHT?!?). Needless to say, I have some upcoming trips. It's a remarkable title, and the community mods (scenery, ATC, even a script that grades your landing quality) are amazing. Has anyone ever tried this in Proton? I wonder if it runs as well and, if so, that opens open certain exclusive Windows mods...

Aside from that, been on two day 1 native linux releases, Space Mercs and Defend the keep, both quite fun and terrific additions.

A lot of Thief recently. Just finished Thief 2014 on my PS4 and started Thief 3 a few days ago with Wine. I love the open city setup with stealth games, it just works perfectly. And also playing around with The Dark Mod a little.

Picked up Rise of the Tomb Raider for about $10 CAD. So far loving it. I find the graphics and gameplay great for 4 year old game.

Just finished Prey (2017). Pretty solid game, and it runs great on Proton :)
