It's coming up to the weekend, here's our usual column taking a quick look over what good deals are going on right now.
First up, for you Steam Play fans there's the Endless Space - Collection currently going free for 48 hours on Humble Store as part of their End of Summer Sale Encore. Their big sale on all sorts of games ends on September 16th which includes deals like:
- DiRT Rally - 80% off
- Stellaris - 75% off
- Dungeons 3 - 75% off
- Dying Light - 66% off
- Surviving Mars - First Colony Edition - 75% off
- Wizard of Legend - 45% off
Humble also have BATTLETECH in the current Humble Monthly, great deal. There's also the Humble RPG Bundle still going with Pillars of Eternity, Tyranny, HIVESWAP: Act 1 and more.
For you e-book fans, Humble also have another Python book bundle and a Become a Game Developer bundle.
Over on Steam, they're tracking titles being shown off or announced at the Tokyo Game Show with a number of them also on sale. Some of them include Linux support too like:
- La-Mulana - 67% off
- The Silver Case - 60% off
- Renowned Explorers: International Society - 50% off
- Reus - 50% off
- Tropico 6 - 30% off
- Gladiabots - 25% off
Something I'm also going to highly recommend is Deep Rock Galactic, it works great in Steam Play and on Steam it's free to try for three days with 35% off too. Don't miss a good opportunity to both test Steam Play and try a seriously fun game. I've put a crazy amount of hours into it, quite brilliant.
GOG also have a few bits and pieces going right now like their Moon Festival, which features a ton of Anime styled games all DRM-free including: The Falconers: Moonlight - 60% off, Corpse Party - 35% off, all the episodes of Higurashi When They Cry Hou are on sale (episode 1 link 75% off) and more.
But I'll pass on these one, I didn't even have time to test age of wonder, and I have to investigate why dirt rally don't launch.
And Underworld Ascendant now is Linux native and is 80% off, that's an incredible deal. The game has very good performance, about 130 fps on my 1070 on high. For those who don't know, it's the spiritual successor to Ultima Underworld, and its current mixed ratings is because it had a rough launch, but it is much better now, definitely worth buying!
Just bought Underworld Ascendant myself. Hopefully a bit more cash injection and even more improvements may come through.
And I've been bartering away my unneeded game keys (second copy, usually). That has been going very well so far. Not a bad way to get rid of a Windows game you receive in a Bundle and swap it for a title you do want.

What's a good way to do that? steamtrades.com, or something else?

Well, after making this Forum Post I began using that trading site and found it to be very transparent (It links to your Steam profile and shows all your transactions for reference). You can observe the various trades I've made so far.

Thanks for the tip, I'll check out barter.vg. I found steamtrades to be a bit convoluted, so maybe that one will be better.
