If you know of a Linux game with a confirmed release date for this year that's not in the list, let us know in the comments and we may add it in.
*hugs Proton and plays them anyway*
Heartwarming, so many great titles :) And there I was worried about some games pulling plug on Linux
Not to be the negative guy in the room but these are only planned not confirmed for linux for example Vampire Bloodlines 2 has not annoucement of being on linux at least none i could find that were official.
Sounds more like you misread the list, Bloodlines 2 is not on it as it is not confirmed. All titles here are.Heartwarming, so many great titles :) And there I was worried about some games pulling plug on Linux

"We will look into Linux after the console launches" is enough to get you on a list of games coming in 2019?? When I see a quote like that I read it as: "There is almost definitely not going to be a Linux port".Yes because they've confirmed Linux multiple times, it has always been coming to Linux (original post and that quote is just the latest Timeline on when.

Aaah OK then, that makes sense. Thanks!

Well I don't know what you're expecting me to say or do? Ignore every developer who says their game is coming?"We will look into Linux after the console launches" is enough to get you on a list of games coming in 2019?? No but at the same time saying confirmed without actually being released and I know you go with the information you have my view is until its actually released its not coming to linux its just the way we get treated because of the market size.

I understand that (and why) you're pi**ed. It's just that a list of promised games has to consist of games, erm... having been promised. It's not like you should buy them on the promise or bet your soul on them being released, it's just something to look forward to... and maybe sometimes be disappointed. It's interesting information either way.
there was a time we got one or two AAA titles on a year.. Looks like since proton is a thing there is no more heavy ports (Did feral gave up too ?)But Proton gave us, like, hundreds (thousands?) of AAA titles in one fell swoop, more than we'd get in a lifetime of porting of AAA titles to Linux otherwise. Like it or not, for now, it's our AAA future and, after that, streaming gaming... We'll be fine.
