Streets of Rogue just recently had a post-release update to enhance this chaotic rogue-lite some more. It's also going to get even more fun with what the developer has planned.
Perhaps the most exciting thing was buried at the bottom of the update notes, which mentions "Work on level editor". Curious about that, I spoke to the developer on Twitter where they said they were "hoping" to do Steam Workshop support but they will release a level editor first.
That's excellent, as it feels like the only thing missing from Streets of Rogue. I can only imagine the kinds of crazy levels people will make—exciting!

As for what's actually included in the update that's now live, there's quite a lot of tweaks. Custom made characters can now have "Big Quests", these are optional large-scale mission that you do across an entire run which were previously only available to the default characters.
The ATM Machine now lets you destroy stored items, you can break into crates quieter by using a Crowbar, you can split a stack of items now in both local and online multiplayer, Cannibals get extra XP for killing Soliders (like rival Gangster colours), a different ending dialogue for the Gorilla when you have the Translator and you can also now buy NPCs a round of drinks at a bar. There's also two new mutators to play with: Slower Gameplay and Extra Health for NPCs. Plenty of bug fixes made it in too.
You can pick it up from Humble Store (10% off) and Steam.
I'm still amazed at just how fun Streets of Rogue actually is. After playing it constantly through the Early Access period and after release in July. It just doesn't get boring, every run feels different and it's especially fun when you start to unlock more at the Home Base.
