It's Friday, the weekend is on the way and you're excited to start playing some games! Need something new? Got you covered. Note: a few picks from different stores, based on the current best deal.

First up, a reminder that Humble Bundle are doing an excellent RPG Bundle currently with titles like HIVESWAP: Act 1, Deep Sky Derelicts, Tyranny, Pillars of Eternity plus a few others. You can also get Darkwood, Beholder 2, Butcher and more in their Spooky Bundle.

Humble Store also has a big end of summer sale still going until September 12th too. Some great deals there on titles like:

See all Linux sales on Humble Store here. There's also a new Humble Monthly dropping later today, you still have a few hours for the current one. Will do a post later if it's worth picking up the new one for September.

As for Steam, they've got a free weekend going for Kingdom Come: Deliverance, Endless Legend and Endless Space 2 with each also on sale too. Just noting in case some of you wish to try them with Steam Play, just be sure you check ProtonDB for issues.

Some other good deals on Steam:

GOG also have a bunch of themed sales going, a few picks:

Humble also have a Become a Game Developer Book Bundle, with a bunch of Unity books and videos that some of you may be interested in.

I bought Sudden Strike 4 but won't be able to play it until Mon/Tues because thats when my videocard returns back from RMA (it was replaced).

Was going to get a 2080TI but shelved that idea now since prices have escalated by up to %30 here in Australia so screw that!

I really recommend Dungeons III, especially if you can play with a friend.

Hmm... it doesn't looks like PoE II is on sale at GOG at the moment. I believe it was earlier in the week, though.

That's the trouble with GOG, store pages don't show time left like Humble and Steam do <_<

Yeah, I hate that. Months ago, I complained here that they didn't post a sale end-time. Of course, someone found that it is published on GOG's site somewhere. It was so un-intuitive that I haven't been able to find it again. It's as good as non-existent.

In general they don't. But if the sale has a separate page and the game you are looking for happens to be on it, then you have a countdown. But that isn't reliable in general, most of the time they manage to gog it up somehow and end the sale earlier or later.

On my current internet provider by the time I finish downloading Kingdom Come: Deliverance the free weekend will be over.

Prison Architect is probably my favorite game on that list. Really addictive. ^_^

Prison Architect is great, although it still has some annoying bugs that force you to completely remove a room and recreate it because it gets stuck during construction.
