After a successful Kickstarter campaign way back in 2016, Lithic Entertainment have been progressing well with their 3rd person adventure and town-building game Dwarrows.

Seems like this was one we entirely missed too, even though during their crowdfunding campaign it was announced that it will have Linux support. It's not yet released though, they're expecting to launch sometime in Q1 2020. However, they're currently running a Beta for backers and in August the first Linux build arrived.

Feature Highlight:

  • Explore: Play as three uniquely skilled characters to quest and puzzle through a peaceful and atmospheric world.
  • Gather: Supply your town with resources gathered from the land surrounding it, from hidden treasures, and other wonders.
  • Build: Discover and unlock new structures to grow and improve your town.
  • Befriend: Find friendship in the local wildlife to help boost your town and character abilities, and invite the wandering Wood-Elves to join and grow your town.

I think this looks and sounds awesome, exactly the type of game I'm interested in too. Looks like early next year is going to be fun with Dwarrows. Will be following it a lot closer now and keep you updated on their progress for sure. It's also been added to our dedicated Crowdfunding Page.

You can wishlist and follow it on Steam.

I was just watching the video on Reddit.
This game is promising.

If you like this kind of game, I play My time at Portia a lot via Proton. It works very well and is very interesting.
You can pick it on November's Humble Monthly.
