For a long time now GamingOnLinux has been providing daily (and often on Weekends too) Linux gaming news, tips, reviews, interviews and more.

A few months ago, we passed the ten year mark! We would very much like to be here for another ten years and more, with your support that will be possible. A call for donations and support isn't something we do directly often either, as we prefer to spend our time chatting with developers and getting news out for you to read. Thanks to all the existing support, we have no need to have any adverts keeping your browsing experience nice and clean.

There's a lot of plans in place for more content, new site features, new videos, regular livestreams on our Twitch Channel, our round-up News Punch podcast is set to continue and plenty more yet to come. We're also now posting up a monthly update on the forum, for extra behind the scenes info on things being done.

If you're able to, we would appreciate your support. There's many ways we have open for you to do so including: Patreon, Paypal, Liberapay, Flattr, Twitch and Ko-fi.

You can also use our affiliate links for GOG and Humble Store/Humble Bundles.

Thank you for reading, commenting and being here.

I am the owner of GamingOnLinux. After discovering Linux back in the days of Mandrake in 2003, I constantly came back to check on the progress of Linux until Ubuntu appeared on the scene and it helped me to really love it. You can reach me easily by emailing GamingOnLinux directly.

Thank you. You help(ed) me find new interesting games I would otherwise miss and also overcome technical difficulties. Keep it up, please :-)
I hope even my meager Liberapay donations help a little...

"Adult Games" are not something I play and they're almost never emailed in by anyone, not users or PR teams. So you're not likely to see more of that any time soon.

The fact that no one emails in or tips off in Discord/Telegram/Forum/Twitter/Mastodon and all the others tells me there's not much interest or point in covering them here. As far as I can remember, you're the only person to request it in comments too. If interest did pick up, then I probably would cover more of them.

Personally, I'm all in favour of GamingOnLinux being a family-friendly website. It should be safe for youths to visit and check out Linux games, and also Dads and Mums to visit, when their kids are in the room. I'd be mortified if I was showing my nephew or niece a link on this site and suddenly the next game in the list was a sexually-inappropriate title for their viewing. Also, there is the viewing of this site in the workplace and the NSFW meme. On top of this, a proportion of gamers would find such content distasteful and it could cause them to actively avoid visiting the site.

I suppose only shame prevents this kind of request.
I test a lot of games/vn for adults and I prefer to use the appropriate "channels".
I agree that GoL must address a family audience.
