The endless dungeons await in Heroes Of Avranche, an Early Access action RPG that's going to appear on December 3 on Steam.

According to the information from the developer, Heroes Of Avranche has gameplay that's comparable to the likes of Diablo and Torchlight. Unlike certain others, your character isn't locked into a specific class. You can easily swap between them and each class has two different stances changing their play-style too.

Can't remember hearing about this one before, anywhere in fact. Turns out they're going to be releasing it for Linux too. In their announcement on Steam, they said pretty clearly that Linux will be supported for the Early Access release.

Mixing in randomly generated dungeons, customizable characters, randomly generated loot and enemies with a range of abilities it's also going to have hand-crafted campaigns. They seem to have a lot of plans for it too while development continues in Early Access with some sort of multiplayer mode, user-generated content and so on. One to keep an eye on.

You can follow it on Steam.

Could be nice, however it smells like a tablet/phone game, according to the GUI, number of skills on screen etc. And that's for me never a good sign for gameplay and depth.

yeah reminded me Albion a bit in terms of UI, which also is quite bad on PC, in terms of UI layout at least

Action RPG's don't typically have tons of abilities though.

Looks like a pleasant surprise. I'd probably never play this style of game solo, so I hope their multiplayer includes co-op. And, how will it stack against Last Epoch?

I'm game for a Diablo-like experience. Steam page doesn't have a price and I generally avoid EA titles to begin with, but it could turn out well.
