Possibly one of the most relaxing and engrossing games release last year, Parkitect just expanded with a free update and a big Parkitect - Taste of Adventure DLC. Note: DLC key provided by GOG.
For me, Parkitect is a bit of a special game. Years ago, Theme Park was one of the few full games I actually owned back in the days of the Amiga so naturally I spent a lot of time playing it. As much as I loved it, I took a look back and saw just how restrictive it was and frankly the experience now in Theme Park is a bit terrible. That's where Parkitect comes in! Everything I could have possibly wanted in such a building sim and more.

With the release of the first content pack, Taste of Adventure, that excitement comes flowing back in pretty quickly. The DLC adds in new campaigns, new themes, new rides, new stalls, lava, 3D text signs, new segments for coasters as well as animated door and gate decoration pieces. It's not exactly huge when thinking about individual additions, but together they do add up to open up the game quite a bit further when playing through.
As for the free update it gives everyone the ability to change water colour, custom image signs (moddable) ride photo sections, a spin-lock option to the Spinning Coaster, marketing campaigns for things like free park entry, new scenario goals, the ability to use normal path styles for queues and so on.
I already wholeheartedly recommended Parkitect to anyone who enjoys building sims, and I shall do the same with the Taste of Adventure expansion as it's a must buy if you enjoyed it already.
You can pick up Parkitect - Taste of Adventure on GOG, Humble Store and Steam.
