Releasing on November 20, Texel Raptor just announced the first big expansion to their incredibly fun theme park building game Parkitect and I couldn't be more excited.

I remember being completely absorbed by the classic Theme Park from Bullfrog in my youth, to which Parkitect firmly filled the hole it left in my adult life. Parkitect doesn't necessarily need an expansion, it already has everything that makes it a great game. However, I will gladly take this expansion so I can happily play even more of it.

What exactly do you get with Taste of Adventure? There's 10 new challenging levels, 2 new themes (Adventure and Candyland), 8 new rides (River Rapids, Safari Ride, Vertical Spinning Coaster, Swinging Coaster, Inverting Spinning Coaster, Inverting Wooden Coaster, Experience and Clockwork), 4 new shops (Cookies, Shirts, Sub Sandwiches and Corndogs) plus some new map features too. You will get animated doors and gates, lava, customizable 3D text signs and more.

That's not all though, they're also launching a big free update for everyone too. Even if you don't buy the DLC you will get customizable water colours, improved staff zoning, queues can use all path styles, an improved track builder and more fun sounding additions plus extra modding support.

You will be able to get Parkitect abd the Taste of Adventure expansion on Humble Store, GOG and Steam on November 20.
