Skookum Arts have finally given their seriously clever puzzle-platform The Pedestrian a release date, coming to Linux on January 29, 2020.

After testing an early build this year, which you can still try yourself on itch.io, I was instantly hooked. Such a brilliant idea. You control the person symbol you usually see on signs and you go running from sign to sign, rearranging and reconnecting signs in order to solve puzzles. Honestly, it's absolutely fantastic with an awesome atmosphere.

If this isn't a hit, I might lose a bit of faith in gamers everywhere. Okay, being a bit hyperbolic there perhaps but seriously I will be genuinely surprised if it's not a big hit. Their Kickstarter sadly didn't hit the goal for a level editor, but perhaps if it sells well enough they will do it anyway.

You can wishlist/follow it on Steam releasing on January 29, 2020.

Oh, it's got support now? For quite a while it didn't have the Linux icon on it's coming soon page on Steam, although the original demo ran great.

Guess I'll have to re-add it to my wishlist.
