Reminder: Update your PC info for the next round of statistics updates

A few things to add which are commonly suggested:

1. Session type (X or Wayland).
2. Monitor refresh rate.
3. Adaptive sync usage.

I wonder how often people actually adapt their answers to the "When was the last time you used ..." questions...

Another suggestion: "Do you use virtual machine with Windows to play games?"

Still only x86 CPU options. Admittedly useless from a statistical perspective but I just want to fly my flags.

Also, I get the impression that total number of users with active stats is dropping month after month. I'd expect the opposite if Linux gaming is gradually growing. Why the negative trend?

People dropping offafter two years. A lot of people don't update it once they do it initially so it removes them.

Even in growing communities, standalone blogs like this have been facing big challenges for years.

This is the only blog I check on a regular basis, and that's down to Liam doing an exceptional job every single day.

Do you see if those people still return or they also never return to the site? Would be interesting to analyze, whether it's simply updating problem, or rather users leaving one. I.e. for example when deleting, you can set some internal counter about the above.

I updated from an RX 550 to an RX 570. I had to downgrade to the RX 550 because of a hardware issue with my old HD7850. I assumed it was a hardware failure because I had some other hardware get damaged. Interestingly another use has the same problem with the old SI radeon card and the new Ryzen 3600 on Linux.

I was holding out for the RX5500, but it still seems like it's not quite ready for prime time. I picked up the XFX RS XXX RX 570 (not sure if I got all the Xs right) at Newegg for $100. That's a tough price to beat, so I jumped on it.

The performance is solid. I'm only playing at 1080p, so it's good enough for what I'm doing. I'm surprised at how used to the minor stutters I got when using the RX 550 on some older games. Everything is so smooth now.

My only complaint is that it seems to run hot and draw a lot of power. Understandable, when I'm gaming. But at idle, it's drawing at least 35W and that's only if I set power_dpm_force_performance_level to low. The benchmarks and reviews showed a lot less power draw for this card at idle.
