From the developer behind the rather amusing Nobodies and Kelvin and the Infamous Machine, Blyts just announced their new adventure thriller Slender Threads.

In Slender Threads you will guide the protagonist, Harvey Green, an unremarkable travelling salesman through the scenic yet empty community of Villa Ventana. While nefarious, unseen forces exert increasingly more sway over him and the town's residents.

It's only just been announced and they haven't given out too many details on it, their feature list is rather light on info too:

  • Encounter and interact with a vast assortment of eccentric characters with inscrutable intentions.
  • Solve a sequence of challenging puzzles as you draw ever closer to the source of the town's dark influence.
  • Bring to light the origins of the region's uncanny existence.

Releasing sometime in Q4 next year, we've got a while to wait and no doubt in that time some more information and trailers will release.

Until then you can wishlist/follow it on Steam.

Slender Threads, huh? So it's a game about finding slimming clothes?

The hero kind of reminds me of the Ballad of Dan.

Kelvin and the Infamous Machine was a lot of fun. Very similar to the old LucasArts games of yesteryear.

I'm keen to give this a go.
