Humble Choice (formerly Humble Monthly) has a new set of games up for January and this time there's 12 to pick from.

Each month, Humble put out a selection of games and depending on what tier of Choice you're on, you get to pick between 3-9 games to keep. The selection for January isn't great for Linux supported titles, but you may get on well if you make use of Steam Play Proton. Here's what you can pick from for January's Humble Choice:

  • Graveyard Keeper - Linux supported
  • Two Point Hospital - Linux supported
  • Unrailed! - Has a Linux Beta
  • Them's Fightin' Herds - coming to Linux.
  • Middle-earth: Shadow of War
  • Dirt Rally 2.0 + 3 DLC
  • Street Fighter 5
  • Bad North: Jotunn Edition
  • Trailmakers
  • Whispers of a Machine
  • Mages of Mystralia
  • GRIP: Combat Racing + Artifex DLC

On top of that you also get a Humble Store discount between 10-20%, access to all you can eat DRM-free titles in the Humble Trove (there's a lot of games there) and a few original games Humble publish each month with it.

If you're interested, you can see more about it here.

Two games I didn't chose are Them Fightin' Herds and Dirt Rally 2.0. First one, because I feel like vomiting every time I see those ponies and the second one because as I read it's impossible to play online on Linux, and that seems kinda common, BUT it's also impossible to even start single-player career mode because it needs to connect with server too. Therefore, even that it runs on Proton, there are serious limitations. Also, I got Dirt Rally for free some time ago, I didn't enjoy it much (I have no controller and it's must-have for the game) and in a few weeks it simply stopped working, every time I want to run the game I'm getting only dialog window with "error 127".

Dirt Rally 2.0 and Street Fighter V one can either play on Windows or sell.

Quoting: fenevadkanwhat 2 games do you guys are gonna skip out of the 12?

Fuck, this is exactly what I feared :(

I'm going to stare at that for a few hours without coming to a decision, then cry myself to sleep, I guess.

Or on second thought, since January hasn't been paid yet, I'm going to cancel altogether. Better not have any of these at all than being paralyzed.

I dropped Dirt Rally 2.0 and Street Fighter V for being expensive DLC fests, at 145€ and 524€ respectively.

Well, I will pass for now till I know what the hell is going on with Humble Bundle. They have killed my credit card a third time now in less then two month! Evertyime I buy someting on Humble Bundle with my credit card. It becomes invalid a few days later.

Answer from Bank: "The Store, where I used my credit card, reported an attack in which my credit card details have been stolen." Answer from Humble Bundle so far: Silence!

Geez! I wish I could kick two games out. IMHO easy enough :D. But with all that trouble with Humble Bundle at the moment... :><:
