2D isometric adventure, BEAUTIFUL DESOLATION, has been announced for release this month and the good news is THE BROTHERHOOD will be bringing it to Linux.
They previously made the point-and-click sci-fi horror adventure 'STASIS' and another isometric horror game with 'CAYNE', both games have Linux builds too (although STASIS is classed as a Beta). As for BEAUTIFUL DESOLATION, it's releasing for Windows on February 26 and they confirmed to us on Twitter that they "will be supporting other platforms with a solid and stable build" and although there's no set date to "rest assured - it’s on our roadmap".
A little more about it:
BEAUTIFUL DESOLATION is a 2D isometric adventure game set in the distant future. Explore a post-apocalyptic landscape, solve puzzles, meet new friends and make powerful enemies, mediate conflicts and fight for your life as you unravel the secrets of the world around you.
It was actually funded on Kickstarter (see more on our dedicated page), and even back then they said they would "endeavor to also publish on Mac and Linux, however this may not be a day one release" so they've always been quite open about that.
With all that in mind, check out the trailer:

Not into adrenaline pumpin' grinders that much :D
Thanks Brothers!
Quoting: PatolaIt is not an RPG then?
Stasis and Cayne were pretty much point and click adventures. Looks like this one might extend the mechanics a bit, but I'd expect most gameplay to resemble that. And Cayne is free, so easy to try and see what they're good at.
I loved the atmosphere and experience from Stasis and Cayne, so I'll definitely have a go at this one when it releases for Linux.
Phew :)
