Blacklight Interactive and Team17 have announced that their amusing multiplayer golf game, Golf With Your Friends, is leaving Early Access.

They've not actually given an exact date yet but we at least have a release window now, with "Q2 2020" being mentioned. Blacklight did say we can expect plenty more content to be added in before the full release, and they only recently introduced some big updates too like a whole Worms-themed set and a Museum set too.

With the ability to play by yourself, with a friend locally and online there's a lot of opportunities to get swinging. I can highly recommend it too, honestly it's probably the best casual Golf game available right now on Linux, nothing else really comes close to the kind of stupid-level fun you can have in it. Tons of courses, different game modes to spice the game up a bit, a level editor and even a little customization—what more could you ask for?

Golf With Your Friends is available to buy on Humble Store and Steam.

I actually like the idea of that, might have to make it happen.
