Even more developers have begun to offer their games up for FREE. We now have Tomb Raider and Drawful 2 joining in.
On Steam, these two quality games aren't just free for a time, they're free to keep them forever if you claim them now and they both have Linux versions too. Tomb Raider, a great action-packed experience, is free until March 24 at 7AM UTC and Square Enix said this about doing it:
We’re warmed by stories of communities banding together to support those in need during uncertain times, and by honoring directives intended to protect the most vulnerable among us.
Gamers are part of a global community. We regularly rally together online to return balance to fantasy kingdoms, recruit crew to save the universe from sci-fi threats, and indulge in healthy competition through high-octane action games. For others, shifting to both online work and play is unfamiliar territory.
They also put Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris free too and while it doesn't support Linux, it should work quite well with Steam Play Proton. Also free to keep is Drawful 2, a fun party game to help stop you and your family (or friends, whoever) from going nuts if you're quarantined/isolating, until April 11 at 5AM UTC.
Horizon Chase Turbo is also on a Free Weekend, as are these demos for the Steam Game Festival which we mentioned in a previous article but to save you a click:

Also, the Half-Life franchise is still continuing to be free to play for a while, to celebrate the imminent release of Half-Life: Alyx which should come to Linux later with Vulkan.
