The Humble Conquer COVID-19 Bundle has arrived to help in the fight, with tons of games (and lots for Linux) and 100% of the proceeds of this will go to charity. It's a special one-week bundle, with a minimum purchase price of £25 / $30 that includes Linux supported titles like:

  • Undertale
  • Hollow Knight
  • Wizard of Legend
  • SUPERHOT
  • Fahrenheit: Indigo Prophecy Remastered
  • This is the Police
  • The Jackbox Party Pack 2
  • Party Hard
  • Europa Universalis IV
  • Psychonauts
  • Broken Age

And the list goes on, plus there's also some ebooks. If you're new, the bundle will even give you one free month of Humble Choice. Something I will note as well, is that it includes Into The Breach from the creators of FTL, which is confirmed to be coming to Linux and it appears that's coming sometime soon too with hints of it appearing on SteamDB recently.

As a Humble Partner, we here at GOL get nothing from this one with 100% of the proceeds from purchases going to support organizations responding to COVID-19 and we're proud to be a part of this. Charities include Direct Relief, International Rescue Committee, Doctors Without Borders and Partners In Health.

See the full bundle here.

Its a shame that so many of these games are locked behind Steam, with no DRM-free options.

It's sad that there's no tier in this bundle, $30 is a bit too much in my country

Quoting: The_AquabatBecause the last thing I knew is that European bureaucracy were locking funds away from Italians. shameful .
Quite certain this is untrue and just part of the usual anti-EU propaganda.
EU has neither reason nor means to withhold charity-related funds from reaching their destination.

If anything, Italian bureaucracy is known to be a Vogon-inspired clusterf*ck, so I wouldn't be surprised if charities there had problems dealing with national institutions.
But even that I wouldn't worry about right now, as everyone is just waving through anything right now to speed things up.

Quoting: The_Aquabatare we sure that this is going to the people in need in Italy, Spain or Usa. Because the last thing I knew is that European bureaucracy were locking funds away from Italians. shameful .

Are there any trustworthy sources on that? Besides you are funding organizations like Medicines Sans Frontieres who are now very present throughout Europe. (And they've been active in the US for years - just like in other developing nations.)

That's a massive amount of games and stuff for 28€ (or more, as you please), over 1000€ worth for the price of one game. 97% off!

Even if you already own many of the listed items, the crazy value and proceeds going to a good cause makes this a worthwhile investment. Note: I know nothing about any of those charities.

Agreed, especially since the Humble Bundles used to focus on downloading and 'owning' your games direct from their service. I've stopped getting excited over Humble announcements due to their shift in distribution.

Quoting: The_Aquabatmaybe everything could be anti-EU propaganda .. when big news media predict that the end of the EU is near. something is clearly not working quite right... so I also heard that things have started to pick up some pace.

The Telegraph--a politically very conservative British news outlet--is hardly an unbiased source on the subject of the EU right now. Just providing a bit of context for this "big news media" prediction. :)

The actual article is so light on facts I'd hesitate to call it journalism. It basically just reports what an unnamed bunch of Italian politicians said in an ad they bought in a German newspaper.

The bundle is nice, but the games are a bit aged, by now I have all the games from here that I want.
