Humble Bundle has a new set of games ready with the Humble 2K's Game Together Bundle, there's a few nice picks for Linux gaming fans in it and more if you use Steam Play Proton.

For actual Linux support, there's not a lot. What's there though, is definitely good. In the first tier for £1 / $1 you can get Spec Ops: The Line for Linux. Plus there's also The Darkness II, Sid Meier's Pirates! and Carnival Games VR.

If you pay more than the average it includes the BioShock: The Collection, with that having BioShock Infinite as part of the package which does support Linux and is a huge amount of fun. There's also The Golf Club 2019, Sid Meier's Civilization III: Complete and NBA 2K Playgrounds 2.

The top tier includes XCOM: Enemy Unknown Complete Edition (one of my favourite strategy games), Borderlands: The Handsome Collection (Borderlands 2 + The Pre-Sequel and a bunch of DLC) all of which support Linux there. Outside of that there's also Borderlands Game of the Year Enhanced, WWE 2K20 and NBA 2K20.

With the selected charity, International Medical Corps, getting a portion of the proceeds too.

See the full bundle here if any of that interests you.

Nice. Spec Ops: The Line is imho very underrated. It still launches last time I checked. It's a little bit tricky about window mode and main display but otherwise fine.

Thanks for your offer man. I don't need this game, I just didn't expect it to be blocked. I went to Youtube to know what its story, and I didn't get the reason for it to be blocked. Anyway, thanks again.

Borderlands: The Handsome Collection (Borderlands 2 + The Pre-Sequel and a bunch of DLC) all of which support Linux there.

I wouldn't really call it support any more. It's been a year since they broke cross-platform play. They briefly fixed it for Mac, but that's broken again and they only plan to fix that: not Linux.

Spec Ops the Line is a great game
Great story and takign the FPS genre on its head if you haven ot played it.

Odd they offer Civ 3 of all things. I doubt that even runs on modern systems ...

Me and my partner (who still uses Windows even if I tried to get them to switch) have been waiting until cross-platform play got fixed, to no avail. We were midway through a co-op campaign when it stopped working, so that's been on hold since then.

Sad they don't have any actual games. Makes the whole thing Worth less than the 1 euro they require.

Make humble bundle great again 😞

NBA and WWE have shitty ratings
darkness 2 (DRM makes it unplayable for proton),civ3 and spec ops already were giveaways

crappy, or really old games
how about mafia 1 2 3 and xcom 2?
I think I already have everything I want from this bundle. For anyone who still hasn't played it, I recently installed Bioshock remastered under Proton and played an hour or so. It seems to be working well.

If anyone has an extra key for Sid Meier's Pirates they don't want, I'll take it off your hands! ;-)
Like others, I've already got all the interesting stuff in this bundle...

Nice. Just bought it on GOG a few hours ago, so it's good to hear it will likely run well on Linux. Had intended to play the classic version, but sounds like the remaster is okay now? Heard it was very liable to crashing.

Not sure how it would apply to general wine, but I used the no-esync flag mentioned on protondb:

Maybe not applicable to your case at all, but the way I got some people around me to switch was to stop offering any Windows tech support. :D

"Sorry I don't want to have to deal with Windows in my life and to be fair, my skills in that realm have gotten rusty and seriously outdated. But I will still gladly help you with any Linux problems including setting it up for you."

For those special people you still want to tech-support ofc. Don't just do it for anyone (without having a reason you like).
