Humble Choice, the monthly game bundle subscription has a fresh selection ready for April and they're giving out a bonus game to people who subscribe. This is the tiered subscription that gives you the ability to pick a certain amount of games based on whatever level you sub at.

Games you can pick from this month (Linux supported in bold text):

  • This Is the Police 2
  • Opus Magnum
  • MOLEK-SYNTEZ
  • Trüberbrook
  • The Bard's Tale IV: Director's Cut
  • Turok 2: Seeds of Evil
  • HITMAN 2
  • GRIS
  • Raiden V: Director’s Cut
  • Driftland: The Magic Revival
  • Shoppe Keep 2
  • Capitalism 2

This month subscribers also get the new Humble Original, Divinoids, plus a sneak peek at Ring of Pain. As far as I know, neither of those are going to be supporting Linux. You might have some like with Wine/Proton there. For the special bonus game, they're not saying what it is but if you grab the bundle before May 1st you will get it. Humble said currently they will only throw out an extra game to everyone this month.

Additionally subscribers also get access to the Humble Trove, a pretty big collection of DRM-free games and plenty of those do support Linux. You also get up to 20% off in the Humble Store across your sub and 5% goes to charity too.

See the full bundle over on Humble Choice.

Does anyone know "how much" of Hitman 2 is included, considering the base game is already free on Steam?
https://store.steampowered.com/bundle/11358/HITMAN_2__Standard_Edition/

Other than that, I already have the games I really want from that list, other than Turok 2, so this month is a bit disappointing (and last month wasn't stellar).

The "Standard Edition" that's free is just the first level. What you get in the Humble package is the actual standard game, that's 59,95€ at the moment on Steam.

The free demo is a good way to find out if your system will run Hitman 2 under Proton. If you own Hitman 1 and create an account with IO (the developer), they give you the Hitman-1-in-Hitman-2 DLC, which works even if you didn't buy Hitman 2 yet. I enjoyed working my way through that last July/August, so this bundle is instabuy for me just for Hitman 2.

I've heard good things about GRIS, but looking at protondb it needs some media foundation hack to work in proton and I can't be arsed with that.

P.S. The Hitman 1 demo is probably better for deciding if you actually like the gameplay. IIRC the infiltration in the Hitman 2 demo was relatively dull.

Grabbed the Choices Bundle for this month. I can confirm that Bard's Tale IV comes with Bard's Tale Trilogy as an added bonus. For once a decent bunch of games I wanted, without matching what I already own (too much). This is an example of a month where the bundle really worked out for me. [I don't mind a few Proton titles, particularly when they haven't cost me much.]

Quoting: GuestSome great games this month. Got Trüberbrook yesterday

Can confirm; Trüberbrook was an enjoyable point&click adventure. The ending was a little odd, though.
