While not all of the games on sale fit directly as a 'city builder', they all at least have you build and manage something. The Humble City Builder Sale is live and there's some great Linux games in it.
Some good picks for Linux gamers:
- Prison Architect - 75% off
- Cities: Skylines - 75% off / Cities: Skylines - Parklife - 50% off / Cities: Skylines - Mass Transit - 50% off
- Railway Empire - 70% off
- Surviving Mars - 66% off / Surviving Mars: Green Planet 33% off
- Northgard - 50% off
- Rise of Industry - 50% off
- Two Point Hospital - 50% off
- Tropico 6 - 35% off
- Bridge Constructor Portal - 30% off
- Project Hospital - 25% off
- Meeple Station - 25% off
There's plenty of others on sale, you can see the full sale here.
Perhaps you will find your next game, to get you through the weekend and into next week. Personally, I'm torn on a favourite out of those, as there's some seriously good games there. Two Point Hospital feels a bit "on point" right now, although the more comical take on diseases should bring a smile to your face.

If anyone haven't given Surviving Mars a try yet I can highly recommend it! It's an amazing game from the Tropico devs, and it's really great, I don't think I've seen a city builder quite like it.

If they actually had games there, this could have been real interesting.

I really do like Surviving Mars, but holy crap they need to balance the terraforming. Trying to get your vegetation up to 95%+ is a long, painful experience, while all the other aspects can be done much easier. Which honestly isn't how vegetation actually works, where it multiplies whether you want it or not once you have water, O2 and temperature. If not for that, I'd love the game a lot more.

I'm quite irritated about Surviving Mars - I got the base game some time ago and potentially interested in the Season Pass. The Surviving Mars: First Colony Edition (i.e. base game + season pass) is cheaper on Humble than the Season Pass. Well, keep doing that and don't expect me to hand any more cash over.

You only really need Green Planet to be honest, the season pass for that game was a bit lacking - so you can just grab that.
