A good time for an update with ton of people at home, and what a great game to play with others too! Golf With Your Friends just recently had a 'Volcanic Update' with quite a lot of new content.

With an entirely new volcanic and sci-fi themed 18 hole course, the Volcano enters the race. There's also a new Japanese translations, a new and improved Course Editor, new obstacles and hazards, a better tutorial and there's even gamepad support to make it more accessible than ever.

A ton of bug fixes also came with this update, with the Linux version seeing a little attention too. It should no longer crash after a short time in the menu, practice mode or the Forest course. While there's various bug fixes to some courses too, the online side of it also saw a bunch of improvements to make it smoother—quite important now of course for everyone sticking to the lockdown caused by the Coronavirus.

Great game too, a huge amount of fun and it seems quite popular too hitting an all-time player peak online of 4,436 only about a day ago. They also have a "Very Positive" user rating on Steam from close to twenty thousand users!

Just as a reminder, they announced recently that it was going to be leaving Early Access in Q2 this year, so presumably before the end of June and they've still got updates to come yet.

Golf With Your Friends is available to buy on Humble Store and Steam.

I just played it multiplayer with a friend a few days ago for the first time in maybe six months or so, and it definitely feels more…polished, somehow. Like nothing I could point to that was a huge improvement, but it just felt that much smoother overall. Definitely a fun game, especially playing with the ability to jump on!
