Descenders is fast, smooth and most importantly for an extreme sports game - it's intense. It's also now on a big discount with some fresh content added too. It left Early Access in May 2019 and since then, they've continued expanding what's possible with Descenders which includes a lot of new tracks.

Not played it? From the developers of Action Henk, Descenders is a fast-paced extreme downhill biking game that's easy to pick up, but difficult to master. With procedurally generated tracks, cross-platform mod support, multiplayer and more.

With the most recent update you can now find a third edition of the BIKEOUT challenge map, which is like the game show Wipeout but with bikes. I desperately tried to get through BIKEOUT 3 but it defeat me time and time again. Here's one of the outtakes:

Additionally there's also Dyfi Valley, a beautiful downhill ride inspired by the rural tracks of the Welsh Valley was also added in. Both of which you can find in the "Ride -> Bike Parks" part of the menu.

If you love extreme sports games, Descenders is something you definitely need to play, especially with the modding support there's quite a few extra tracks you can grab and almost endlessly replayable thanks to the way it generates tracks differently each time you go through the campaign mode.

You can pick up Descenders on Steam with 40% off, which is currently the biggest discount it's had which lasts until May 14.

Just completed both of the new parks. Those crazy BikeOut parks are really frustrating :D. Don't forget that you can hold left trigger and press the left stick to put down your re-spawn point between each obstacle. That way you don't go all the way back to the beginning when you mess up ^_^
