While the date for The International has been pushed back likely into 2021, the Battle Pass has gone ahead to help provide funding for it.

As usual 25% of the Battle Pass funds go towards the overall prize-pool, with the rest going to Valve. Considering how much that 25% ends up being, it's a huge earner for Valve. Last year it broke records hitting over 34 million dollars, which made it the biggest single prize pool ever for an esports tournament like it.

This year it comes with a new Guild system, letting anyone join together but only Battle Pass owners can actually create a guild. You all work together to level up your Guild, while earning rewards in the process. There's daily contracts, guild challenges and a guild chat integration.

Coming later, Valve are also planning a big new Summer Event. Valve said "This summer, a mysterious power arrives to disrupt the war of the Ancients, and no one—god, mortal, or monster alike—can resist its terrifying pull. Step away from the battlefield and into a labyrinth of trials and horrors. The one to master it all... could be you.".

There's tons more that came with this Battle Pass and update for Dota 2 including a new Cavern Crawl, where you play through specific heroes to progress across a map and earn special items. A system to place a Bounty on enemies to earn more points through kills in a match, mini-games appear when the main game has been paused during a match and a whole lot more.

As for a new date for The International 10, Valve said they "continue to monitor the global situation and will announce new dates when we can be confident in our ability to deliver a safe and uncompromised tournament".

We don't know how long Valve plan to keep this Battle Pass up, as it usually stays until the end of the tournament but since that's not happening we might see it stick around for longer. It will be interesting to see how big the pool gets.

I think it's the amount of hate that goes into the community, to the point that it's not really worth it to play without four other people you know, and even then frictions is created amongst each other; I stopped playing cause I was solo-queueing and every match was a lottery (and lack of role queue, I always ended up being support, so never learnt to be a carry and never improved, etc...) and to be fair I could not keep up with all the meta and the recent changes, for casual sure, but even there sometimes people are toxic, so I just un-installed and be happy in tf2.
