Valheim can't come soon enough, a survival & exploration with a fantasy theme inspired by norse mythology and viking culture and you can get in early. The developer, Iron Gate AB, has today opened a Closed Beta period and anyone can sign up for it.
They previously put up a very early Alpha available on itch.io, which admittedly I put quite a bit of time into and ended up enjoying it a lot. It ends up being quite a pretty game too, although it does have a slightly odd graphical style mixing lower resolution texturing with some advanced techniques and great lighting that all work together to give it a unique feel.
Check out some shots (click for more):
What it will offer at release:
- Flexible house and base building system.
- Intuitive item crafting (weapons, armor, food etc).
- Huge procedural world.
- Dodge & block based combat system with a wide range of weapons.
- Defeat bosses & collect trophies.
- Engaging food & health system.
- Build & sail ships.
- Multiplayer (with focus on cooperation).
- Dedicated server.
This Closed Beta is an ongoing thing, with keys being sent periodically if you sign up to their mailing list. Find out more on the official site, and wishlist / follow on Steam.
Will wait for a few reviews and if positive will pick it up
A pity they cancelled itch.io release.

Thanks, so they never replied to your comment about it?
On unrelated thought, this is another example of how devs going the Epic Shame Store way because of 70/30 split is horseshit. Itch.io does 100/0 and this dev doesn't even seem to take it into account when deciding to drop the itch.io version.

And how many have stuck with it? I don't think there is a single developer that didn't go to steam after their exclusivity period because what that 30% buys is a massive audience. Even Epic knows it which is why they still pay Apple and Google their 30%. Same thing applies to itch.io. They may get 100%, but they don't get a viable customer base with it.
Now, what is that big curved thing in the sky? That was decidedly not a thing I saw in the alpha. Any guesses anyone?
I put dozens of hours into the first alpha release on itch.io. I loved chopping down trees in this game because the gigantic logs could roll and kill you if you weren't careful. (I often used them to kill game and enemies alike.) I'm really looking forward to their final release, to be sure. The world tree? A way into or out of valhalla perhaps? Who knows :D

If it's the "arc" as in this video it may be Yggdrasil:
