Eye of the Beholder I & II are timeless classics.
I remember playing the first one on a 286 @ 10MHz with 1MB of RAM back in the day.
I like that the GOG page suggests a 1.8GHz CPU with 1GB RAM to play it today...

Just grabbed EotB trilogy and bought the DragonLance trilogy too. I played these games while I was a teen on a 80386 and 486 DX2-66, at the time. Pure nostalgia! Couldn't resist!

Talking about GoG... It seems, but I'm not sure what to make of that, that one of the threads requesting a Linux port of the GoG Galaxy client just got changed to "In progress"... What does that could mean?

Yeah... Talking about old hardware... Did I mentionned that I have played The Bard's Tale and Wizardry on an Apple IIE, with the green monochrome screen?
Anybody on a VIC-20?

I want to believe. I love GoG but I won't lie that most of my purchases by far are on Steam. If we got better support I'd definitely start buying alot more over there.

I got into RPGs playing the Eye of the Beholder series in the early 90s (all pirated, but now I have legit copies!).
My favourite series of that era was the Might & Magic games, though, which I started with M&M 3. Currently, my all-time favourite RPG is Skyrim though I am really enjoying the Atom series :-)
