It's the weekend and hopefully some of you will find the time to relax and play some games. There's been a lot of new releases lately too!
For me, I'm a little torn.
The new Stoneshard update is really good, filled full of new content to play through and a lot of new weapons to try out. The brutal combat and setting certainly takes getting used to, along with the health system. I've lost count on the amount of times I've died in it over the last few days.
I also want to play a whole lot more Burning Knight simply because it's so incredibly fun to blast through. So much insane action when you manage to build up a list of items. Just look at how ridiculous it can be!
You know what? I'm clicking Play on Burning Knight as soon as this goes up…
Over to you: what will you be clicking on across this weekend and into next week? Let us know in the comments and suggest some good picks for your fellow GOL reader.
Looking forward to the improving wine releases to deal with the Windows MediaFramework requirements of many modern games.
I'm also completely addicted to Mana Spark. The graphics are a nearly-unplayable mess, but the gameplay is so smooth and satisfying, you start to ignore it. Great progression, amazing power ups and again - great synergies with certain upgrades. Just awesome.
Finally, I've just bought Burning Knight, so I'm looking forward to playing that!
Also of course for the noble goal to replace a theocratic government by one where every citizen is equal, and some are even more equal than others. :P
HoTS
Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition (Proton) - this one is so hard for me, can't believe actual 6 y.o. play this game
Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast (Wine)
With the Moderniser mod and using dgVoodo2/DXVK it's working really well except that the framerate is terrible when zoomed in, so I might be playing NOLF Troubleshooting rather than NOLF itself.
Plus whatever the little one wants to play. (edit: the verdict is in for this category. Contraption Maker it is.)

I discovered Halfway, a top down Xcom like taking place in a space ship invaded by an unknown force, great atmosphere (Aliens vibe), simple gameplay & mechanics. Got it for 2€ on steam less than a fifth of a cigarette pack in my country, native on linux, made with passion.
And playing "I have no mouth, and I must scream", a point & click from the past with a weird setup, five people try to escape from their own personal hell created by an omnipotent computer. Art is good, fully voice acted, story is unique.
Finally, Blender blowing a fuse on my machine, I tried Wings3d and found it totally unintuitive, basic options not easily accessible (like the near clip plane distance for the orthographic view), keyboard shortcut not well thought, opaque selection box and more. If somebody knows a really light free 3D modeler, I'm all hear, until then I'm stuck with it.
Quoting: TobyGornowNot at home, I'm gaming on my potato laptop (13 years old), refusing to die no matter how bad I treat him, hence I'm playing really low specs games:If you enjoyed Halfway, their Indiana Jones-like follow up, Pathway, is also worth a look. It's also 50% off right now.

Also playing Tower of Time, which I picked up on sale a couple of weeks ago. Hidden gem! Beautiful visuals, tactical RPG battles with an interesting "slow time" mechanic, and quite long. I've logged 12 hours and I'm still only on the second level of the tower. I'm also not very good. ;-)
Probably will go back to Fort Triumph as well. Great turn-based strategy game in the same vein as XCOM, but there was a breaking bug in Act III on Linux. Hoping the latest patch fixes it.
Playing Feral's Grid Auto sport with x360 controls. Awesome graphics! Playing Ultra 1080p with i7-3770 and R9-290X
Redneck Rampage: Route 66 with Raze
