Littlewood and Stardew Valley not enough for you? Need more farming, crafting and exploration? Verdant Village is now live in Early Access on Steam.

"You've washed ashore in a foreign land. With nothing to your name other than a few tools you’ll have to learn how to live off the land. Explore, grow crops, and meet the locals. How you live is up to you. Can you create a new life for yourself in the small town of Amberglen?"—well, luckily for you the King seems nice and gave you an abandoned piece of land to call your own and it's up to you to bring it back to life.

Compared with Stardew, it seems to take a much more high-fantasy setting and they appear to have much more expansive plans for it. It currently has a fair amount of features already in like farming, fishing, mining, quests, exploration, decoration, cooking and so on but there's more they plan to add including combat, sailing, marriage and more. They're hoping to have it finished by the end of 2020 but they may continue in Early Access until Summer of 2021.

Personally, I can't get enough of this little life sims. All the wonderful ways to zone-out and build up your land are great.

It was already available on itch.io with it now launching into Early Access on Steam.

This looks a lot better than it did the last time I looked at it, when it seemed much more like a Stardew knockoff. The dev(s) seem aware of this and are trying to make the game its own thing, if still similar.

I do wonder if you will be able to customize your characters, since I only see the one default dude in the trailer and on the Itch page.

Do I need another building farm sim? Apparently the answer is yes! I like the high fantasy setting a lot. Both Stardew and Littlewood have a very modern feel. My Time at Portia is 3D with a modernish feel and a Studio Ghibli vibe. Even if it does play a lot like a Stardew clone (Littlewood and MTaP both feel very different from Stardew), the setting and vibe I get from the trailer already makes it feel unique.
