Today we round up some more Stadia news about new and upcoming titles for the game streaming store and service.

First up, a reminder that Rock of Ages III is a new free claimable game for Stadia Pro subscriptions which launched on August 14. It's a competitive tower defense and arcade game rolled into one with Monty Python-esque humour.

While Stadia already had them latest DOOM Eternal and DOOM 64 they were missing the DOOM from 2016 but no more. DOOM is now also up on Stadia as of August 18.

The recent SUPERHOT: MIND CONTROL DELETE is also now available on Stadia as of August 18 and it's absolutely worth picking up, I enjoyed blasting through it.

More newly confirmed to be coming:

  • PGA Tour 2K21 is confirming for Stadia on August 21
  • Spiritfarer is coming to Stadia on August 21
  • Baldur's Gate 3 Early Access on Stadia (plus Steam) on September 30.

As a reminder of what else we know is coming to Stadia includes: Windbound, Hello Neighbor, Hitman / Hitman 2 / Hitman 3, Marvel's Avengers, Serious Sam 4, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, Watch Dogs: Legion, Hello Neighbor: Hide & Seek, Assassins Creed Valhalla and more.

Now we have something of a rumour: the French outlet Rockstar Mag have sourced that mentioned Grand Theft Auto V will be arriving on Stadia when it's also release for the next-gen consoles. It's certainly possible and even probable it will, considering they already have Red Dead Redemption 2 up on Stadia.

You don't need to be? Not all our news is directed at everyone, some of what we cover is just for whoever is a fan of the game/service/software.

superhot mcd has 2,4GB on my drive
how long do you have to stream it, til you downloaded more than 2,4GB?

i really dont get it who would buy small games?

i totally get it for hitman2. this game has 110GB with legacy dlc. i love this game, but i play it very rarely
with GFN i can delete it and make space for other games i play more frequently

It's not about the size of the games or the type of games, I'm surprised people still don't understand it. Game streaming is about the convenience - having it available basically anywhere. Plus, for people who don't have a PC with any sort of power: it opens up many more game options both big and small. I personally absolutely still prefer my local copy on my desktop but I'm also glad streaming options exist.

Come on guys, is an extra option. Play locally, play on the cloud, play wherever you want.
Use Stadia or don't use Stadia, is up to you. Is not Stadia or else.

"anywhere"..... stadia is not available anywhere and you need a very fast internet connection, so you kind of tied up to your own home... where all gamers already have a PC, or a console

Anywhere being any device and location, I didn't mean quite literally anywhere in the world. Yes, there's limitations right now.

This might surprise you, but gamers use mobile phones and tablets too, where Stadia and other streaming services can also run. Don't be blind to other ways to play games.

Due to some unfortunate events, my PC is in a coma right now. I only have an older one that can't play anything for its life (ok, maybe tetris), but it can play Destiny 2 on Stadia just fine.

Will I get rid of my Steam account with thousands of games, or maybe just throw my good (but comatose) PC in the trash and go Stadia-only? Hell no. But sure as hell I'm glad options like Stadia do exist.

If Stadia doesn't say anything to you, then just ignore it. What's the point of people jumping in almost every Stadia topic just to say basically "I don't like it". Do something that you do like and forget about Stadia.

I really hate all those companies that makes Linux ports only for Google and not for Steam too....
Is like an anti-Valve conspiracy.
