Another game coming to Linux that mixes in cute graphics, a casual theme, plenty of crafting and something about eating cards? Everafter Falls looks like another absolutely charming casual crafting adventure.

In Everafter Falls you're dead, after a freak accident and you find yourself here. In singleplayer or split-screen local co-op you will be able to go on various adventures while also building up your homestead. A few quests here, a little farm automation there and a progression system that has you gain new abilities by eating cards. Have a look at the early preview below:

You even get a pet that can help you dig? I feel like I need this. There's some sort of dungeon-based combat too by the looks of it.

I genuinely seriously love all these casual games like Stardew Valley, Littlewood, Ova Magica, my recent discovery and love of APICO and now Everafter Falls too. More like this please, they're all great. The developer also confirmed Linux support on both Steam and Twitter.

You can follow Everafter Falls on Steam.

Hmmm
Not to be the cynical one, but , it feels like the same as it did when Minecraft was popular and the crafting games started flowing through the gates.
Hope the quality and originality stays up.

I think I've played Stardew Valley for hundreds of hours. It doesn't look like this game will really add anything new. Rather I am looking forward to the new Stardew Valley update so I can play it for a third time yaaay!
