Looks like the monthly Humble Choice bundle for December is a pretty good one, filled full of games and Classic / Premium subs get 14 this time.

What is it? Each month Humble Bundle curate a selection of games for subscribers to claim. How many you can claim to keep depends on what tier you pay for. This month they seem to be quite generous since you keep them all and there's more than usual.

Here's what's on offer (Linux builds in bold text):

  • Overcooked 2 + Too Many Cooks + Surf 'n' Turf
  • Children of Morta
  • One Step From Eden
  • Indivisible
  • The Beast Inside
  • Shining Resonance Refrain
  • Zwei: The Arges Adventure
  • Zwei: The Ilvard Insurrection
  • Tabletop Playground
  • The Haunted Island, A Frog Detective Game
  • Frog Detective 2: The Case of the Invisible Wizard
  • Still There
  • Struggling
  • Path of Giants

Additionally, they're also giving out one month of EA Play Pro when you sign up for Humble Choice Premium if any of you are interested at all in that. Existing subs get $5 off. You might be able to make use of that with the Wine compatibility layer perhaps.

Overall though for the standard $15 price for the monthly bundle getting Children of Morta, Overcooked 2 and One Step From Eden together make it a really great deal as those are fantastic games.

I'm considering stopping it too. I've paused so many times this year that I probably won't be back for another one.
Humble Choice seems to get worse every month.

I'm interested in a couple of the titles in the new Choice selection, but the rest are not particularly compelling. Still, I don't mind pausing a month and keeping the credit for another time. I've actually paused only 3 times during this year's subscription so far.

One thing vaguely promising to say about the bundle - Although my steam list of shame is over 2000 games, I don't own any titles in it.

Excellent selection of games this month, I'll certainly be picking it up.

I had a feeling the end of the year would bring better bundles.

I'm interested in Children of Morta, Overcooked 2 and Shining Resonance. The other games are nice additions too, especially One Step From Eden and Indivisible.

This bundle contains plenty of games I was interested in, but I probably would not spring to buy them on their own.

Bundles like this are nice for giving you the opportunity to give it a shot for some games that would otherwise pass your attention.

Sure, it's not AAA, but the games are rather good and are rated "very positive" on Steam with mostly 90+% ratings. Too much anime though. I was looking forward to play Children of Morta, Indivisible, The Beast Inside. But Humble says that EA Play Pro is not available in my country for some reason .

Yep, that's what I expect from Humble Choice lately. Being a "Classic" customer helps since I don't pay that much. I have paused most months this year though.

Why do you need "EA Play Pro" to play "Children of Mora", "Indivisible" or "The Beast Inside"? All of them are in steam and they don't require anything from EA AFAIK.

BTW, there is no anime game this month, unless you count as anime anything coming from Japan.

I can't use 100% of this bundle because EA Play is not available. It would have more value if I could play Star Wars: Jedi and Battlefield 5 as well.

Oh, thanks for the info. I didn't even see that new customers of the Humble Choice were getting 1 month of EA Play Pro.

FYI: "Returning" customers get an offer of 1 month of EA Play Pro for 10 bucks (instead of 15), not bad I guess but I'm far from interested.

My experience is rather different. I like the bundles as they introduce games I would probably not even notice. I have had a a great time playing some of them especially from Daedalic. I won't play all of them I added to my library until now but for 10e+ I don't see it as a big expense.
