Two weeks after the original Windows supported release, Total War: WARHAMMER II - The Twisted & The Twilight is now available for the Linux port. With this latest expansion introducing two new Legendary lords for the Skaven and the Wood Elves, each with new units, gameplay mechanics and unique narrative objectives.
"With a rift torn open in the Dreaming Woods, Queen Ariel of Athel Loren and her trusted emissaries, the Sisters of Twilight, move to secure it for the Wood Elves. Throt the Unclean has other ideas however, and rallies his monstrous Skaven horde against the Sisters and their Elven queen."

We also now have the latest update to the base game which includes all the changes from the Asrai Resurgent Update, which brings with it plenty of bug fixes, balance changes and quality of life improvements to the gameplay. The biggest change is the Wood Elves, who’ve received a comprehensive overhaul to the way they play. Details on that update can be found here.
Since it's now up to date you can also redeem and use the free Skaven Chieftain DLC. On top of all that it also gives you the free Legendary Lord named Drycha, if you own Realm of The Wood Elves for the original TW: Warhammer who becomes playable in the huge Mortal Empires campaign map.
Feral also said the latest update for Linux (and macOS) brings in fixes to "a number of minor issues".
The Twisted & The Twilight is available now from the Feral Store or Steam for $9.99 / £7.99 / €9.99.
EDIT: I tried to play it after the update, but I'm unable to load my previous campaign, because one DLC is now missing: Black Orc Big Boss.

Most of the time was playing Imrik on Mortal Empires! What an awesome campaign!
You're basically stuck on your own on the opposite end of the world from all the High Elves, basically a couple of continents away; surrounded by enemies of orcs, rats, Dark Elves and racist dwarves; and with no one to trade! And your quest should you survive and succeed, is to recruit through battle, 5 of the most powerful legendary dragons in the world!
Gordinar, Champion of the Flame (Sun Dragon)
Shackolot the Calamity (Black Dragon)
Bruwor, Protector of Life (Forest Dragon)
Lamoureux, the Frost Breath (Moon Dragon)
Ymwrath, the Eternal (Star Dragon)
It is one of the hardest campaigns but if you get those Legendary dragons, your "Death Stack" is unstoppable especially once you get Minaithnir - Imrik's own Star- Dragon ride!
I basically after hundreds of hours had to fight my way back home to the HE continent, conquering everything in my wake including Lustria, and eventually destroying Malekith, his minions and whatever Chaos hordes were left!
The Lord of Dragons...

Quoting: Anders1232That's great news! Since the long time it took to port The Warden & the Pauch DLC to Gnu/Linux I switched my install to use proton (which works nicely), but with the native version up to date I'm thinking in going back to native version.
I can only recommend it, it runs really smoothly :-)
