Paradox are running another PDXCON from today for the weekend, where we expect a new strategy game to be announced. To get things going Stellaris, Surviving Mars and Cities: Skylines are free to play for the weekend on Steam and a big sale is on. Each title also has a huge discount if you decide you wish to keep them.

For the new announcement, we don't have a clue what it will be - but since it's an internal Paradox title (they're not just publishing it), hopefully it will continue the tradition of Linux support. When we know, you will know!

What's on sale? Here's some highlights:

See the full Paradox Sale page for more.

Update: GOG.com have also announced their own special Paradox sale now too across two collections. There's the Paradox Essentials and the PDXCON 2021 list. Lots of the GOG deals are about the same as what's on Steam so pick your favourite place. Additionally Humble Store are also doing a big sale now too.

Article updated to note it's not just Stellaris that's free for the weekend now!

Imho Stellaris is in good shape now (not exactly a given with pdx games).

Perhaps if someone wants to try it it could be a good idea to directly try the test build since (among other things) it speeds up the game sensibly by increasing pop growth.

Yeah, Stellaris has come a seriously long way, it's a very different game to when it was released.
