It appears that at least Ubisoft are being serious about Stadia, with Ubisoft+ rolling out to more countries and they're bringing a bunch more games to Stadia too.

Thankfully, now it's not just limited to the US. As of right now users in Canada, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Belgium and Switzerland can use Ubisoft+ on Stadia!

Ubisoft+ on Stadia is expanding too and a lot. For starters, the hugely popular Rainbow Six Siege will be coming to Stadia so you will be able to (internet permitting), play another quality multiplayer title right on your Linux box without any VMs. That's not all, they're bringing over a bunch more of their catalogue too including:

  • Assassin’s Creed Black Flag
  • Assassin’s Creed Rogue
  • Assassin’s Creed III Remastered
  • Far Cry 4
  • Far Cry Primal
  • Far Cry Blood Dragon
  • Rayman Legends
  • Child of Light

All the aforementioned games do not yet have releases dates for Stadia, we expect to hear more at their next Ubisoft Forward on June 12th.

Not enough? The brand new Far Cry 6 will also be launching on Stadia on October 7.

Reminder: Stadia Pro is not required, it's optional to give you regular free games to claim along with 4K support for titles that have it. Normal Stadia accounts buy games like any other store. One day, Google might actually advertise and explain it all properly. Until then, you can bet on us to keep you in formed.

Wish they released those games for regular Linux, instead of having them be Stadia-only titles.

The latest games additions for Pro were not bad either: The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III, MotoGP20, Chronos: Before the Ashes, and Blue Fire. Chronos: Before the Ashes in particular felt pretty interesting.

This is good news. Rayman Legends would be great to check out. Going to wait for the sales, though. Div 2 was $3.74 with Pro and the 3 month free Lenovo code has helped everyone I know in Stadia jump back in and pick up some of these under $5 games. I have about under $40 left of my GRC points but I'm waiting for more cross platform MP games to pick up.

Probably no crossplay for R6 Siege though? At least not with PC eh?

Wouldn't say it's out of the question, since their port of The Division 2 is fully cross platform between Stadia and Windows.
