Two Point Studios shared today that the upcoming Two Point Campus due in 2022 will have a native Linux supported build, just like they did with Two Point Hospital.
In Two Point Campus, you’ll be tasked with building and running your very own campus environment, where the decisions you make will shape the lives of the students you enrol and the staff you hire. For the first time, build in the great outdoors as you develop your very own campus grounds, buildings, and surroundings. Lay down dorms, pathways, hedgerows and more with new easy-to-use creative tools. The only limit is your imagination (and your in-game bank balance).

“We hope that the incredible Two Point community will love all the new creative freedom that Two Point Campus will bring and that new players will be intrigued by its setting and the quirky world we’re trying to build, packed with our trademark humour and charm”, said Gary Carr, Co-founder and Creative Director at Two Point Studios.
Replying to a forum post on the Steam Community asking about Linux, the Two Point team said very clearly:
Hey everyone!
There will be a native Linux version of Two Point Campus which will be available via Steam :)
You can follow Two Point Campus on Steam. Due for release in 2022. We'll be following along to keep you posted on it.

Quoting: TheSHEEEPYou know what game I'd love to get a "sequel" to?

Oh yes so very this!!!
I was a bit disappointed not to see the Linux (well, SteamOS) icon when they first launched the Two Point Campus Steam page. But now I'm happy to know Two Point Studios are still supporting Linux.

I'm not sure how much a publisher matters in this regard, but Sega has been quite Linux-friendly too.
Quoting: KetilI am very opposed to the idea of treating education like an assembly line,…
I think that (unfortunately) very much depends on who you ask within a hospital or university :)
I feel like there have been school-management games before, but I do not remember the last big budget one.
Glad Two Point is making these sorts of games!
