AMD recently did their Q2 2021 financial results and investor call, and they seem to be thoroughly confident on their roadmap for upcoming advances with the Zen 4 and RDNA 3 architectures. Previously based on their slides it looked like they would have some out before 2022, although that was a little too soon as they've confirmed since and again now that both will launch during 2022.
During the investor call, CEO Lisa Su mentioned:
Our engineering teams are aggressively driving our product and technology road maps to continue setting the pace of innovation for high-performance computing. We remain on track to launch next-generation products in 2022, including our Zen 4 processors built with industry-leading 5-nanometer process technology and our RDNA 3 GPUs. We also recently demonstrated the next major advance in our triplet strategy with our differentiated 3D die stacking technology that enables significantly denser and more efficient connections between stacked chips. Based on the strength of our long-term road map and the deep partnerships we have established, we expect to continue growing significantly faster than the market.
Lisa Su also announced very clearly they have more coming from Ryzen 5000, although it's not clear what exactly was being referred to if that's a refresh or just having additional models being announced and we don't want to jump to conclusions on that without further info.
Additionally, the Ryzen 5000 G-Series desktop processors are coming soon. AMD announced the Ryzen 5000 G-Series back in June, and their official Twitter account mentioned to keep an eye out next week. These next generation APUs are going to be quite exciting to see properly out in the market.
With Intel recently announcing their new naming and roadmap, it continues to be a very exciting time for gamers looking to upgrade their PCs.

I'm looking forward to the improved speed and other features but not looking forward to buying another new MB, fan, RAM and most likely PSU (because why not). It looks like early versions may be limited to 16 cores.
Zen 3 / RDNA 2 kind of had hard time - because of chip shortages they were pretty hard to get. By the time shortages will get significantly better it will be already Zen 4 / RDNA 3 probably.
Though CPUs aren't that hard to get already, but GPUs are still very overpriced.

I bought my 5900X at 580€ and my 6900XT Red Devil at 1100€.
Some retailers sell this hardware at the recommended price. But you need to be patient. Some people wait more than 100 days to get it. I personally waited 17d. They prioritize mounted PC in order to limit resale.
